About Edokibashi

The Edokibashi was first made during the early Taisho Era(1912～1926) by Edo Craftsman and holds nearly a 100year tradition.Edo is the former of Japan's capital [Tokyo] when the Edo Shogunate was governing the country from 1603～1868.The Edokibashi uses selected precious wood(Ebony,Iron ,Mullbery,Wood,etc) and takes advantage of the material's beauty.
The Edokibashi are carefully designed for ease of use and each one handmade.
These is broad range of selection with different lengths,thicknesses,and weight to find the perfect chopsticks that fits each person.To differentiate the chopsticks made in other areas,"Daikokuya " owner and Craftsman ,Katsuhiko Takeda registered.
